The village is very old. In the background of the photo you can see a giant snowman. It was made by the locals and they seemed to be very proud of that. I saw the surf desk for the first time and a local guy told me some interesting facts about the sport. I was so fascinated that came to the decision to try. He is looking at the length of the waves. Weather wasn’t too good for surfing but we gave it a try. I couldn’t stay on the desk for too long but I still made some progress. I still don’t understand how they managed to build them hundreds of years ago without any modern technologies. But lots of people died building them and it’s the well known fact. She knows a lot about food quality so we always leave the choice to her. There's already a lot of food in the shopping cart. Our big family needs it all, you know. My sister and I like visiting supermarkets because there is always something interesting to find there. I keep this photo in an album dedicated to everyday life since this is exactly what it depicts. It is special though, since we had an awful lot of fun that day and that is the reason I decided to show you this one and not any other. That is all I had to say.

The only person in the photo is my uncle's wife, whom I tend to call aunt because we treat each other like an aunt and a nephew. At the moment I took the picture she was watering her flowers, which she loves a lot. That is the reason why there are so many of them in the foreground and the background of the photo. Those flowers will eventually form a garden my "aunt" has been planning to build for a long time. She is passionate about it, and that is exactly the reason I keep this photo: I haven't seen such passion often and it certainly stands out from the rest, not to mention that the picture itself seems filled with it to me. I took it about 7 years ago during a big celebration in my grandparents' house. It has to be someone's birthday, but I can't remember precisely if it actually was and whose birthday would it be.

In this particular picture my grandmother is bringing a grilled chicken to the dinner table. Like most grandparents, she was and still is a tiny bit obsessed with cooking, so when it came to celebrating someone's birthday, she would be really happy to cook a lot of delicious things for it. The joy on her face can even be seen and felt just by looking at the photo. At the table there are my grandfather, my uncle and his family. They are obviously looking forward to getting their hands on grandma's masterpiece. She has never disappointed anyone with her cooking.

The reason I keep this photo is the fact that I no longer enjoy such parties as much as I did when I was 11 years old, and would like to have something to remind me of that feeling.

I thought you might share such feelings too, so this is why I showed the picture to you.

My uncle is passionate about travelling, but, living in Moscow he has few photos of Moscow sights and that is exactly the reason I keep this photo-⁠it brings good memories.
