I’ve chosen photo number 1. I would like to tell you more about this picture. I always wanted be a participant of the scientific expedition. That is why I was fascinated when I got a letter with an invitation on such trip. I met many interesting people and some of them even became my friends. I took the photo when we were passing by these tremendous glaciers during the adventure to Antarcitca. It was the first day of our expedition. I’d never seen them before and I was truly amazed. In the foreground of the picture three scientists are exploring the local surface. In the middle of the picture you can see a giant glacier. I keep the photo in my album because of the spectacular view. The weather was very harsh but it didn’t bother us. I decided to show the picture to you because this is my favorite shot. Also I thought that you would be glad to see the real scientists. We’ve decided to go on the second expedition next summer and I’m really looking forward to it. By the way, do you want to go with us?
