Задание 44 № 3376

Study the two photographs. In 1.5 minutes be ready to compare and contrast the photographs:

 

• give a brief description of the photos (action, location)

• say what the pictures have in common

• say in what way the pictures are different

• say which of the ways of taking care of your health presented in the pictures you’d prefer

• explain why

 

You will speak for not more than 2 minutes (12–15 sentences). You have to talk continuously.

 

Пояснение.

I'd like to start with the idea that sport helps us to stay strong and healthy. In photo number one you can see a young woman exercising in the gym. She is smiling. The woman seems to be relaxed and confident. In the background of the picture there are other people who are exercising as well. In picture number two there is a woman who is running in the park. In the background of the photo there are many trees and bushes.

Clearly those pictures have some similarities. Both of them are related to sport and healthy lifestyle. Also in the foreground of both pictures we can see a young happy woman.

But there are differences as well. In the picture number 1 people are exercising in the gym while in the second picture a woman is running in the park. Moreover, in the photo number 1 there are many people, but in the photo number two there is only one person.

As for me, I would prefer working in the sport gym because it is more convenient for me. I hope that I will get an opportunity to go there soon.

 

Высказывание должно быть логично; содержать вступительную и заключительную фразы, соответствующие теме. Средства логической связи должны быть использованы верно. Необходимо избегать необоснованных пауз в речи, верно расставлять ударения, правильно использовать интонацию, не нарушать нормы произношения слов.
