There are people who believe that the Internet is harmful and useless. Others are convinced that the Internet is a reach source of knowledge which might be useful for us.
I have all reasons to believe that the Internet is one of the most significant discoveries of the twentieth century. First of all, it has become possible to find friends all over the world. All you need is a computer or a gadget and the Internet. Moreover, Internet users have an access to the enormous amount of information such as films, music and books. That is to say, instead of buying information in stores, people can get it for free in the Internet. Also it has become even possible to speak with astronauts using the Internet when they are far away from Earth.
Other people are convinced that the Internet is harmful, especially for children. They say that many people get addicted to it. They also believe that there is a lot of useless information.
I cannot agree with the above opinions as these people fail to understand that the internet gives big opportunities. Obviously, you should use it wisely and not spend all day long there. But there is no doubt that the Internet itself is a great discovery, which has changed our lives.
There are two different points of view on the problem. I believe that the Internet is useful for people as long as you use it properly.
