You have received a letter from your English-speaking pen-friend Maurette who writes:
… My Dad has got a new job. What do your parents do? What kind of job would you like to have and why? What kind of training do you need for it?
I saw a wonderful film last week …
Write a letter to Maurette.
In your letter
- answer her questions
- ask 3 questions about the film
Write 100—140 words.
Remember the rules of letter writing.
Thank you for your letter. I'm sorry for not writing you for so long. I had a lot of homework lately.
It’s great that your dad has got a new job. I hope he will like it. Well, my parents work in the construction business and they really enjoy it. Speaking about me, I would like to be an economist because it’s a well-paid and interesting job. If I want to become an economist, I should be very good at Math. That is why I spend a lot of time learning it.
Anyway, you've mentioned a film. What part of the movie did you like the most? Who was the main character of the movie? How long did it last?
I've got to go as my brother asks me to help him with his chores.
Write back soon.
