— mention the advantages (1–2) of the two types of sports competitions;
— mention the disadvantages (1–2) of the two types of sports competitions;
— express your opinion on the subject of the project — say which type of sports competitions presented in the pictures you'd prefer and why.
You will speak for not more than 3 minutes (12−15 sentences). You have to talk continuously.
Hey, I've found two great photos for our project "Sports Competitions". The first photo shows a summer Olympic event with athletes running on a track. The second photo shows a winter Olympic event with skiers on a snowy mountain. The key difference is that the first one is an indoor summer sport, while the second one is an outdoor winter sport.
One advantage of summer sports is that they are more accessible to people all year round. On the other hand, winter sports offer breathtaking scenery and exciting downhill action.
However, summer sports can get very hot and tiring for athletes. Winter sports can be dangerous because of the ice and snow conditions.
Personally, I would prefer winter sports competitions because I love cold weather and the beautiful mountain views. Also, winter sports are more thrilling to watch for me. Let's use both photos to show the variety of sports competitions in the world.
