38.1. Mathematics has always been one of the most important subjects in education. In recent years, more and more young people in Zetland have shown a strong interest in learning maths. To understand this trend, a survey was conducted among teenagers to find out what benefits they see in studying this subject.
According to the survey, the most popular reason is that maths develops your brain — this was chosen by 37% of respondents. The second most common benefit is that maths helps in learning science, with 26% of teenagers selecting this option. Other reasons, such as helping to get into a good university (17%) and making life more interesting (13%), were less popular. Interestingly, only 7% of respondents said that they could think of no benefits of learning maths. This shows that the vast majority of teenagers recognize the value of this subject.
One problem that can arise while learning maths is that some students find it too difficult and lose motivation. To solve this problem, teachers can use real-life examples and interactive methods to make lessons more engaging and understandable.
In my opinion, learning maths is very important for everyone. It not only develops logical thinking and problem-solving skills, but also helps in many areas of life, such as managing money or understanding technology. I believe that the popularity of maths among young people in Zetland is a positive trend that will help them succeed in the future.

38.2. Friendship plays a crucial role in the lives of teenagers, shaping their social skills and emotional well-being. A survey was conducted among teenagers to understand what young people in Zetland value most in their friends. The results reveal some interesting preferences.
According to the survey, the most valued quality in a friend is loyalty, with 52% of respondents choosing this option. This suggests that teenagers prioritize trust and reliability in their friendships. The second most popular quality is a good sense of humour, selected by 33% of participants. This indicates that young people also value having fun and enjoying time together. Other qualities, such as kindness (8%), honesty (6%), and wisdom (1%), were much less popular. Interestingly, while honesty is often considered important in adult relationships, it appears to be less of a priority for teenagers compared to loyalty and a sense of humour.
One common problem that friends can face is misunderstanding or lack of communication. This can lead to arguments and even the end of a friendship. To solve this, friends should talk openly about their feelings and listen to each other carefully.
In my opinion, having good friends is essential for a happy life. Friends provide support, encouragement, and joy. I believe that loyalty and a good sense of humour are indeed very important, but kindness and honesty should not be forgotten either. Good friendships help us grow as individuals and make life more meaningful.
