Study the two photographs. In 1.5 minutes be ready to compare and contrast the photographs:
• give a brief description of the photos (action, location);
• say what the pictures have in common;
• say in what way the pictures are different;
• say which way of studying presented in the pictures you prefer;
• explain why
You will speak for not more than 2 minutes (12–15 sentences). You have to talk continuously.
I was given two photos and tasked to compare them. In the first photo we can see a group of students, in the second we can see a student.
The pictures have a lot in common. Both are featuring people in the process of studying, in both they seem to be enjoying themselves.
However, there is a significant difference between the two pictures. In the first one the students are in the classroom, focused primarily on their tasks as opposed to the girl in the second picture, who is enjoying the peace and comfort of her home, seemingly, focused more on the photographer she is talking to.
I usually study a lot of things at home, so I'd prefer to do it in the way depicted by the second photo. There are simply far more advantages of home education. I know from experience that I am able to focus on the tasks better and learn more in the comfortable and quiet atmosphere of my own house.
That is all I had to say.
