Study the two photographs. In 1.5 minutes be ready to compare and contrast the photographs:
— give a brief description of the photos (action, location)
— say what the pictures have in common
— say in what way the pictures are different
— say which way of spending time with a friend presented in the pictures you preferred in your childhood
— explain why
You will speak for not more than 2 minutes (12–15 sentences). You have to talk continuously.
I was given two photos and tasked to compare them. In the first photo we can see two schoolboys ,in the second we can see two little boys as well.
The pictures have a lot in common. Both are featuring people in the process of communication, in both they seem to be enjoying themselves.
However, there is a significant difference between the two pictures. In the first one the schoolboys are in the school hall, a focused primarily on what they see on the screens of their gadgets as opposed to the couple in the second picture, who are enjoying the peace and comfort of their games outdoors and, seemingly, are focused more on each other.
I don't play with my friends a lot, but if I had to, I'd prefer to do it in the way depicted by the second photo. There are simply far far less distractions for great communication outdoors than you would face using gadgets, which is the reason I wouldn't like to play any online game.
That is all I had to say.
