1. A pupil cannot study effectively without a computer.
2. Some of my friends think it’s important to do sports regularly while others would rather watch a sporting event on TV.
What is your opinion? Do you agree with this statement? Write 200–250 words. Use the following plan:

There are people who believe that children should have a computer because it helps them in the studying process. Others are convinced that kids can study well without a computer.
I have all reasons to believe that pupils cannot study effectively without a computer. First of all, computers may save some money because you don’t have to buy textbooks — you can download them from the internet. Moreover, if the teacher told to make a presentation or a report then having your own computer would be very significant because you don’t have to go to the library or to your friend who already has a computer. So a computer essentially saves you time and that is why you need it to study effectively.
But some people are convinced that can study well without a computer. They say that most of the children just play computer games all day long and do nothing useful. They also say that the internet is full of useless information which doesn’t help children in studying.
I cannot agree with the above opinions as these people fail to understand that a computer has a lot of useful functions which help pupils to study effectively. Obviously, parents should control their children and not allow them to play computer games all the time.
There are two different points of view on the problem. I believe that you cannot be good at school if you don’t have a computer.
