1.  My favourite food is pasta with cheese because it's quick to cook and very tasty. I like it also because my mum often makes it for me when I come home from school.

2.  Yes, I dislike boiled onions. I cannot stand their texture and sweet taste, so I usually pick them out of my food.

3.  I usually shop for food at the supermarket near my house. Sometimes I go to the local market with my parents to buy fresh vegetables and fruit.

4.  I prefer to eat in because it's cheaper and healthier. Also, I enjoy cooking with my family  — it makes the meal more enjoyable.

5.  I would recommend borscht, which is a beetroot soup, and blini, which are thin pancakes. Foreigners should also try pelmeni  — dumplings with meat  — because they are very popular in Russia.
