38.1. Many people believe that online shopping is very convenient. Although, there is a number of those who do not. The aim of the project I am currently working on is to find out what Zetlanders think about online shopping, in particular buying Christmas presents online. We conducted a study and you can see the results in the table.
Most of the respondents (52%) claimed that it is difficult to find a high-quality present online. Less people (18%) said that the photo of product can be deceptive. It is difficult to argue as far as the photo looks differently on different gadgets depending on screen settings. Moreover, sometimes online shops make deceptive photos purposefully. Fewer people (13%) said that choosing a present online takes too much time. I would say that shopping offline takes much time a lot, especially in the "high season" before big holidays. For me Christmas sales at shops are a disaster with crowds of people, lots of noise and tons of wasted time.
It is worth mentioning that late delivery was a suprisingly unpopular asnwer, though it is a big problem in "high season", one's orders can be not only delated but also simply lost.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that buying Christmas presents online can save not only money but also time. I would advise everyone to shop online but in advance not to get your orders delayed in the Christmas rush. (233 words)
38.2. We live in a world which is united by the Internet and therefore more and more people think that leaning foreign languages is very important. It enables them to communicate with people from different countries. The aim of the project I am currently working on is to find out how Zetlanders choose their way of learning new words in a foreign language. As part of my project, I have found and analyzed some relevant data presented in the pie chart.
According to the data, people use a few methods of learning new words. The most popular one (48%) is making paper cards with words. Though, using mobile apps (20%) and making sentences with new words (18%) are used quite often as well.
It is worth mentioning that using mnemonic techniques (9%) is slightly more frequently chosen than learning lists of words by heart (5%).
Obviously, it is very difficult to learn new language, it takes much time and effort to speak it fluently. Though, learning a foreign language and of course, new words in a foreign language gives you a freedom of communication. That is why it is crucial to keep doing efforts.
In conclusion, I think that the best way to learn new words in a foreign language is combining different methods stated in the chart and also watching films and reading books. (219 words)
