38.1. Recent studies show that more and more young people care about their health nowadays. The aim of the project I am currently working on is to find out how teenagers in Zetland keep healthy. As part of my project, I have found and analyzed some relevant data presented in the table.
According to the data, there is quite a wide range of ways of keeping fit. It is clear that playing sports is at the top of the table, 38% of the respondents have said that they do it regularly. Also, visiting doctors is a quite popular way of keeping fit with 25%, whereas eating a healthy diet appear to be at the bottom of the table.
It is worth mentioning that going to the gym is three times as preferable as watching videos on how to keep healthy. In my opinion, doing something in a company and with a professional coach is more effective than doing it alone with a video guide.
One problem that can arise with keeping healthy is that people do not do it regularly. That is why it is necessary to find a way how to help them make healthy habits on schedule. For instance, a special appliance can remind to do physical exercises or drink some water at a certain time.
In conclusion, I think that keeping healthy plays an important role in people’s life. People should care of their health as it is a way to live long and happy life. (248 words)
38.2. Many people believe that learning a foreign language is an essential part of schooling and there are a lot of languages to learn. The aim of the project I am currently working on is to find out the foreign languages teenagers in Zetland study. As part of my project, I have found and analyzed some relevant data presented in the diagram.
According to the data, the adolescents have quite a wide range of foreign languages to study. It is clear that the majority of the respondents prefer learning Chinese as well as German (31% and 22% respectively). Also, Spanish is rather popular among the teenagers in Zetland. However, French and Korean have lost their popularity in recent years, only 15% and 12% of the respondents choose them to study.
It is worth mentioning that Chinese is twice as popular as French with the teenagers in Zetland. To my mind, Asian languages have become more and more important nowadays as this region play a crucial part in world economy and politics.
One problem that people often face studying foreign languages is that they are not ready psychologically for the real communication. It is hard for them to do their best in new conditions. One solution to this problem is to create volunteering centres where people can practice their language with other learners and native speakers.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that studying foreign language is very important nowadays. I think it is a great opportunity to discover the world. (248 words)
