38.1. Nowadays doing sports is very popular among young people. The aim of the project I am currently working on is to find out what sports teenagers in Zetland enjoy playing. As part of my project, I have found and analyzed some relevant data presented in the table.
According to the data, there is quite a wide range of sports activities younger generation is fond of. It is clear that playing football is at the top of the table, 38% of the respondents have said about it. Playing volleyball as well as playing hockey are also quite popular with the teenagers in Zetland (25% and 22% respectively), whereas playing basketball or badminton appear to be the least preferable sports.
Surprisingly, playing hockey is three times more enjoyable than playing badminton. In spite of the fact that hockey requires special equipment and ice rink the adolescents prefer it as they can get new and exciting emotions.
One problem that is usually associated with doing sports is the high risk of being traumatized. People, especially adolescents, usually start doing sports unaided. One solution to this problem is to organize volunteers centres where well-qualified trainers can explain the basic rules that will help avoid injuries.
In conclusion, I think that playing sports is very important for. It is a nice way to spend their pastimes actively and healthy. (224 words)
38.2. Many people believe that travelling is the best way of spending their holiday. The aim of the project I am currently working on is to find out what kinds of places people in Zetland enjoy travelling to. As part of my project, I have found and analyzed some relevant data presented in the pie chart.
According to the data, the people have quite a wide range of places in Zetland where they would like to go on holiday. It is clear that the majority of the respondents enjoy visiting some famous cities, at 39%. Moreover, seaside as well as mountains are also quite popular destination with holidaymakers (21% and 19% respectively). Furthermore, nearly one in ten thinks about going on a trip to forests or deserts.
It is worth mentioning that cities rich in museums, art galleries and theatres are nearly two times as popular as seaside. Obviously, more tourists prefer the cultural holidays to lying on the beach.
One problem that holidaymakers often face while travelling is not well-organized transportation system. For instance, it is very uncomfortable to change airplane for train in a certain city, moreover it costs a lot. One solution to this problem is to create special crossing centres where tourists can wait for their flight or train comfortably. Furthermore, multi-tickets and discounts can be provided for the convenience.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that despite some problems associated with travelling, it is very important. It provides an opportunity to discover new cultures and meet new people. (251 words)
