38.1. Nowadays IT becomes more and more popular and many people are fond of it. The aim of the project I am currently working on is to find out why people in Zetland should study it. As part of my project, I have found a pie chat containing some relevant data that I am going to comment on.
According to the data, people in Zetland have quite a wide range of reasons when it comes to studying IT. It is clear, that the vast majority of the respondents consider that IT is a growing career field as well as IT pros can work in nearly every industry (40% and 35% respectively). At the same time there are other specific reasons why people have chosen IT as a subject to study, at 3%.
It is worth mentioning that the opportunity to improve logical skills encourages people to study IT more than the possibility to develop their creative skills. To my mind, IT is very close to Mathematics so that a person should be good at both of these subjects.
However, there are various problems that people can face studying IT. For instance, there are bad facilities in many schools. The problem is that IT sphere is developing very fast so that it should be taught in primary school. One solution to this problem is to create well-equipped IT classes in every schools in order to all students have equal opportunities.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that studying IT is significant for people. I hope people can learn more improving their logical skills as well as creative ones by being engaged in programming. (270 words)
38.2. There are various conflicts within families. The aim of the project I am currently working on is to find out the reasons of sibling rivalry in Zetland. As part of my project, I have found a table containing some relevant data that I am going to comment on.
According to the data, there are quite a wide range of reasons when it comes to quarrels between siblings. It is clear, that the majority of the respondents consider that children fight just to get attention as well as to own their favorite toys (49% and 21% respectively). At the same time there are other non-important reasons why children in a family do not get on well with each other, at 3%.
It is worth mentioning that reporting wrongdoings is twice as common as competing to be better. To my mind, it is difficult for children to understand and explain what has happened in a certain situation so parents should teach them to deal with problems.
Obviously, there are various problems that can arise with sibling rivalry. One of them is that parents can take only one side. Often, they believe a child who is younger. To solve this problem parents should consult with psychologist if quarrels are tending to happen more often. It may be the result of conflicts that have not been resolved.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that the best way to deal with sibling rivalry is to listen to each other. I hope, many conflicts could be avoided if only members of a family can sit together and talk. (261 words)
