Imagine that you and your friend are doing a school project "Healthy Habits". You have found some illustrations and want to share the news. Leave a voice message to your friend. In 2,5 minutes be ready to:
— explain the choice of the illustrations for the project by briefly describing them and noting the differences;
— mention the advantages (1–2) of the two types of these drinks;
— mention the disadvantages (1–2) of the two types of these drinks;
— express your opinion on the subject of the project — whether you think healthy habits should be developed from early childhood.
You will speak for not more than 3 minutes (12–15 sentences). You have to talk continuously.
Hey, Kate. You know what? I’ve just found two pictures suitable for our project "Healthy Habits". Let me tell you a bit more about them.
These pictures are relevant to our project because there are people enjoying different drinks. In the first photo there is a young woman drinking soda. In the second photo there is a little boy, he is making juice. Obviously, both of these pictures are related to different habits, so that they illustrate our project better. For instance, in the first picture the young lady is somewhere near the beach and drinking soda that is unhealthy as opposed to the boy in the second picture, who is squeezing the orange juice by himself, that is a good example of a healthy habit.
In my opinion, both types of drinks have their advantages. For example, soda is really convenient, people do not spend time on making it and they can drink it almost everywhere. At the same time, fresh orange juice is very healthy. Of course, the two types of drinks have disadvantages too. For example, fizzy drinks are generally high in calories so that they are not healthy. Meanwhile, fresh juice requires some preparations, moreover, it should be drunk immediately.
As for me, I think healthy habits should be developed from early childhood. It may help people live a long and healthy life.
So, shall we use these photos in our project? Call me when you’re ready to discuss if we can use them. Bye-bye.
