38.1. Nowadays the extraction of natural resources is very important industry for each county. The aim of the project I am currently working on is to find out what natural recourses are mined in Zetland. As part of my project, I have found and analyzed some relevant data presented in the table.
According to the data, there is quite a wide range of minerals in Zetland which are permanently mined. It is clear that the oil is at the top of the table as well as the natural gas (52.3% and 29% respectively). Obviously, they are the main fossil fuels in the modern world.
It is worth mentioning that coal, iron, aluminum and gold taken together make up smaller part in the mining industry than the natural gas. At the same time the oil is mined twice as much as the natural gas. The reason is that the oil is an essential part of the chemical industry which has been developing very fast.
One problem that is usually associated with the mining industry is the exhaustion of natural resources especially fuels. They may come to the end in the course of several decades. One solution to this problem is to use more renewable resources. For example, solar panels can provide the great amount of energy that is why they should be constructed in every town or city.
In conclusion, I think that the mining industry is still very important nowadays. It provides workplaces for the great number of people. (248 words)
38.2. Recent studies show that reading is the light of spirituality, especially at the very early age. The aim of the project I am currently working on is to find out who usually reads fairy tales for children in Zetland. As part of my project, I have found and analyzed some relevant data presented in the graph.
According to the data, books are read for children by various people. It is clear that parents usually read children' books as well as grandparents (40% and 30% respectively). Obviously, they are the main readers in the families.
It is worth mentioning that kindergarten teachers read books for their pupils two times less often than their grandparents. At the same time elder brothers and sisters read for the youngest members of their families much less frequently than their parents. The reason is that as usual little children keep a close relationship with their parents.
One problem that is usually associated with reading for children is the high cost of books. Little children like listening to new stories every day and it is rather costly for their parents. One solution to this problem is to organize free online libraries in order to everyone has an access to the great number of books wherever they are.
In conclusion, I think that reading books for children plays a significant role nowadays. Reading fantasy books is the best thing before sleeping. (233 words)
