38.1. Many people believe that travelling is the best way of spending their holiday. The aim of the project I am currently working on is to find out more about it. As part of my project, I have found and analyzed some data on the most popular holiday destinations in Zetland.
According to the data, the people have quite a wide range of regions in Zetland where they would like to go on holiday. It is clear that the vast majority of the respondents enjoy visiting the seaside as well as the mountains (38% and 28% respectively). Moreover, the national parks are also quite popular destination with holidaymakers; nearly one in seven choose them for the trip.
It is worth mentioning that cities rich in museums, art galleries and theatres are at the end of the list. Surprisingly, more tourists prefer the cultural centres to the capital city.
One problem that holidaymakers often face travelling around Zetland is not well-organized transportation system. For instance, it is very uncomfortable to change airplane for train in a certain city, moreover it costs a lot. One solution to this problem is to create special crossing centers where tourists can wait for their flight or train comfortably. Furthermore, multi-tickets and discounts can be provided for the convenience.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that despite some problems associated with travelling around Zetland, people like spending their holidays in its different parts. I hope tourists will discover other regions of this hospitable country. (246 words)
38.2. Many people believe that teenagers in Zetland cannot live without social media. The aim of the project I am currently working on is to find out more information about it. As part of my project, I have found and analyzed some data on how frequently teenagers in Zetland use social media.
According to the data, the adolescents in Zetland use social media a lot, 70% of the respondents said they do it more than once a day. Surprisingly, the second popular answer is avoiding social media, 18% of the teenagers do not use it at all.
It is worth mentioning that using social media weekly is four times more popular answer than using it daily. Moreover, there are adolescents who do it from time to time, and their number equals to those who use social media once a day. To my mind it is not bad.
The data indicate that modern teenagers in Zetland tend to use social media every day. Probably they chat with their friends, look for the latest news or just have fun watching short videos. The great problem that can arise with this fact is that younger generation spends too much time surfing the internet instead of studying. One solution to this problem is to create special messengers for students where there are chatting rooms as well as online dictionaries and libraries so that teenagers could talk to each other and study together.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that despite some problems associated with social media, teenagers in Zetland use it for different reasons. I think they spend their time not only chatting but also discussing various problems. (271 words)
