38.1. Many people consider a good breakfast to be a good start of the day. The purpose of the project I am currently working on is to find out more about it. As part of my project, I have found and analyzed some data on what teenagers usually eat for breakfast in Zetland.
According to the data, the teenagers in Zetland have quite a wide range of tastes when it comes to breakfast. The vast majority of the respondents enjoy eating sandwiches in the morning, 43% of the respondents have chosen them. Egg-based dishes as well as fruit are also quite popular with the adolescents in Zetland (20% and 18% respectively), whereas cereals and yoghurt appear to be the least favourite.
It is worth mentioning that a fruit is three times as preferable as yoghurt. Surprisingly, the teenagers choose an apple or a banana more often than well-advertised dairy product.
One problem that can arise with having breakfast is that a lot of people do not have it at all. Obviously, it is not a healthy habit. As usual, people forget to have a meal or they have no idea of what they can cook, very often they have no time for it. A great solution of this problem is to create special application where people could find simple and quick recipes for breakfast. Also, it could remind people to make sure they have all the necessary in advance.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that having breakfast is very important. Having this meal gives people all the energy they need for a challenging day. (263 words)
38.2. Recent studies show that people like having pets. The aim of the project I am currently working on is to find out what pets people usually keep in Zetland. As part of my project, I have found and analyzed some relevant data presented in the diagram.
According to the data, there are various kinds of pets that can be kept at home. It is clear that dogs as well as cats are loved by the vast majority of the respondents (31% and 26% respectively). Also, as much as 23% of those polled prefer keeping fish, whereas hamsters appear to be not very popular pets in Zetland.
It is worth mentioning that exotic animals are less popular than traditional pets. Obviously, they require special treatment, living conditions and food; what is more, they are quite expensive.
One problem that can arise with keeping pets is difficulties with going on holiday. People like travelling but they have to think about their pets. Usually they ask their friends, relatives or neighbours to look after their pets. However, sometimes it is impossible. One of the solutions could be organizing pet hotels where they could wait for their masters comfortably and be in a good company.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that despite some problems associated with keeping pets, they play an important role in people’s life. They help people avoid loneliness and stress. (229 words)
