1. I live in Saint Petersburg. Every year we celebrate the anniversary of the founding of our city.
2. I always celebrate holidays with my family. We get together and have a big dinner. We also invite our family friends to the celebration as well.
3. The New Year is the most important holiday to me and my family. It represents the beginning of a new phase in our lives, a time for change and improvement, which makes us all hopeful that the next year will be the best one yet.
4. I believe that a day celebrating and promoting world peace would be a good holiday. It would be a way to emphasise the importance of doing everything in our power to avoid war and destruction.
5. Holidays are a great way to celebrate some specific thing in a short period of time. People all over the world honour the ideas behind those events and therefore treat them as important.
