Thank you for your letter. I'm sorry for not writing you for so long. I was too busy with my exams.

Anyway, I've heard that you hate school meals. That is so ridiculous! I think they are delicious! In my school students can get a porridge, an omlette or meatballs for lunch. My favourite food is cakes.

Anyway, you've mentioned that your elder brother is going to Nepal next month. Where is he going to stay? What means of transport is he going to use? And how long is he going to stay?

By the way, I have to continue preparing for my exams. I hope you will be doing well!

По­яс­не­ние. In the contemprorary society holidays and festivals are becoming less "traditionalized". That is why a lot of people have started forgetting their local culture. While some people think that it is evidence of globalization. I think that it is a craze sweeping across the developing countries.

Firstly, to see the difference between traditional and modern festivals, consider St. Patrick's festival, which is conducted mainly in Ireland, and the Loud Music Festival. I think that Irish festival is better, because the national idea unites people in the country and makes them stronger. Also, national traditions and customs usually reflect the history of the nation. And finally, it will be very interesting to imbibe local cultural traditions for tourists.

However, there are still people who think that festivals and holidays should be more "internationalized". That's why they claim that the local customs can be highly detrimental for the foreign people. I cast doubt on this point of view, because I think that different culture can't diminish the sense of holiday. Also, I believe that these festivals can be one of the ways of reaching tolerance.

At the end of my essay I want to mention that despite being traditional they bring more benefits for tourists than harm. And also they get an educational meaning.
